Shouldn't be allowed

Do you know what shouldn't be allowed when you are already so sleep deprived that you can't remember you own name?

Insomnia. Full-on, toss and turn, wander the house in the middle of the night insomnia. That's what.

Oh dear - were you worrying? I usually get that way when I'm super tired and can't stop worrying. ARRGGHH!!

Oh, I so agree. That should be outlawed immediately. Also school-age children who chose such nights to get up multiple times in a row in the middle of the night.

aaarrrgggh. I KNOW! That's when a shot of alcohol is handy. Actually Sleep MD works pretty well. Too bad I didn't have any in the house last night.

Oh, no, I HATE that! You're right, definitely should be outlawed. Hope you're able to get some rest. I've started my taxes, I'm sure I'll be joining you a bit this week.

OHH YESSS!! I hate insomnia. I get it, too, and it's just the worst to not be able to sleep while your kids are and you know soon they're going to be up!

It's one of those vicious cycle things, you start worrying about everything you need to do, then that you won't be able to do it because you're not sleeping, but you can't sleep because you're worrying...
At least that's how it works for me. Sometimes, if you can just get up and DO the thing that's keeping you up, it helps. Sometimes you just can't sleep. Hope it gets better.

it's crippling.

i started reading teen novels, piles of them. they don't challenge you mind like big people books do.

hope you sleep well.

Put on some mellow Manilow. That's what I'd do...

I'd put on some Manilow, if I had any, and read teen novels, but I do share a room with my husband, and he doesn't like it when I turn on the light in the middle of the night. Can't imagine why.
