Yes...that is why there are so many painted surfaces in our house. Shabby chic comes in handy to cover little accidents....at least it wasn't the floor!!!!
So sorry! My kitchen table has Sharpie on it. The big wreck in my house was when my oldest took a stick of sunscreen and drew on our dining room wall right after we moved in. The oil stains are still there now. (It's been 5-years!)
Awww . . frankly I think it adds 'character' We have a long oregon table that's full of scratches and doodles done by nieces and nephews when they were little,it's quite an heirloom now.
It sorta matches my van, that Sunny wrote on with a rock when it was 3 months old. And my bathroom wall, where, within 24 hours of us painting it, Trout wrote "Do you have six dollars?" in ballpoint pen, pushing hard enough to make divots in the wall. Sorry, it'll be funny later. Years later, maybe. But later.
when I was about 5 or 6, I remember laying under the coffee table and with my feet push up one end causing my parents fancy glass bowl that they had gotten as a wedding present to slide off the table and smash into thousands of pieces. Destroyers aren't just on the open sea, there also behind the eyes of very small people.
Magic eraser will take sharpie off. Maybe not painted walls, but it took it off my kitchen table. The only thing it hasn't worked on so far is nail polish.
