No Fair!

I'm taking a page from my daughters' book and crying that life isn't fair. I seem to have the flu, and it just isn't fair. I have too much to do to be sick.

I started feeling low yesterday afternoon, and by the time the kids were in bed, I knew for sure that I was getting sick. I drank a glass of vitamin C supplement and turned in early, hoping against hope to stave off illness, but no such luck.

B got up with the kids this morning and got the girls off to school, letting me sleep in until Elizabeth woke up at 7:30. As soon as I get Campbell off to preschool (thank goodness for carpools) and Elizabeth down for her morning nap, I'm crawling back into bed.

On another note, today is my mom's birthday. Stop by her blog and wish her many happy returns on the day. Oh how I wish was here to take care of poor sick me.

My son was sick over the weekend and he's all better now but the Hubster is now coming down with something. Hopefully it skips me so I can tend to everyone else and have dinner on the table.

Feel better soon.

I hope you're already back to bed and not reading this! And that by the time you do read it you feel better.

I'm trying to think of the most cost-effective way to give something to my son's teachers to help them keep from getting sick this fall ... we're all a little freaked about colds at school her in NYC. But Airborne is sooo expensive!

Hope you feel better soon! Being sick in the rainy weather always sucks. It's just two reasons to want to stay in bed!

Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. It is tough to be the mom and be sick. It's like we're not allowed to get sick.

Being sick when you're a mom is completely unfair. Thank goodness school has started and you can actually nap when Elizabeth does. Hope you're feeling better!
