Dobby Socks

Saturday night, while Ella was having her turn at being an only child, I finished the first of her "Dobby socks." She was so thrilled that she actually cooperated while I took pictures. In fact, she was so thrilled, she had to do a back bend.

For those who don't know, Dobby is a house elf in the Harry Potter books. He doesn't understand that socks are supposed to match, and he makes fantastically mis-matched socks for himself. The second of Ella's Dobby Socks is going to be red with stripes. She picked out the colors herself.
